Welcome to my website.

Finding a therapist to help through difficult periods and painful times is one of the most important decisions we can make for our future happiness. I hope the following pages provide the kind of information you need for such a decision.  I have been in practice for over forty years; during that time, along with my work with patients, I have lectured to both popular and professional audiences in the United States, England, and Canada. In the links above please review my books as well as my professional and popular articles.

Anyone coming to therapy should be willing to explore their thoughts, feelings, and memories with as much honesty as possible.    Therapy gives a person a sense of ownership over their lives, relief from pain and/or sorrow as well as a deeper feeling of what it means to be alive and in charge of their lives.

I welcome your response to the articles posted in the blog as well as any comments you might have after listening to my radio shows.  Please click to see my areas of  specializations, as well as: books, articles & reviews, lectures, resume & work place seminars. I hope you find them helpful.
